Additional Accolades and Fun Facts
Several students have secret security clearance and some are CPR & EMT certified. Another is a licensed mental health counselor and has a crisis interventional training certificate, and one is certified in conflict resolution. At least one is an American Red Cross certified lifeguard and another an FAA licensed pilot. Others have teaching certificates. One is a certified SCUBA diver and another is a NASM certified personal trainer. Another a TAM certified bartender. Another collects vinyl records. Some enjoy photography; one is a blacksmith/farrier. One was selected to be in an ethics bowl and another was a quiz bowl team member. We have an avid Jeopardy watcher in the group. One enjoys whittling. We have an equestrian and fox hunting team member in the class along with the president and co-founder of a college bass fishing group who started a fishing YouTube channel. One helped restore a sixteenth-century French castle and moat. Some are parents and/or caregivers. All are interesting and multi-dimensional with various experiences and reasons to pursue legal education at this time in their lives.
