Employment
Of our 240 students, 132 (55 percent) join us with full-time work experience. Many have served as legislative aides, legal assistants, paralegals and teachers. Others have cooking, barista, food and beverage service, sales and farm management experience. We have a freelance journalist, staff writer, media consultant, communications director, and DJ in our midst. Employers include Hogan Lovells LLP, Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, McGuireWoods LLP, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, Vinson & Elkins LLP, and the United States Congress, Women’s World Banking, the FBI, The Pew Charitable Trusts, American Media Institute, Daily Wire and several universities.
Four members of the new class have served in the military within the U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Navy. Two are attending law school through the Funded Legal Education Program. Their honors and awards include achievement and humanitarian service medals.
