Internships

One-hundred and seventy students have internship experience throughout the United States and around the world. Many have worked on political campaigns, with state political parties, governors, U.S. senators and representatives both in their home states and D.C. offices; federal agencies such as the Department of Justice, Department of State, Department of Commerce, Office of Management & Budget, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Some were with private law firms including Squire Patton Boggs, Holland & Knight, and another with the Supreme Court of the United States, while others were in the corporate arena with The Beacon Group, J.P. Morgan, NBC, The Washington Post, and the Beijing Media Network. Others found positions within private and non-profit organizations such as Action India, American Enterprise Institute, The Black Institute, Blue Ridge Legal Services, The Ethics & Policy Center, GreeningUSA, Center for American Progress, Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, My Brother’s Keeper, PEACE Inc., Organizing for America, The Port of Virginia, Association for Title IX Administrators, The Maryland Zoo, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, The Institute of World Politics, and Peace Boat US.
