Summer Public Service Fellowships 2019

For Summer 2019, 109 William & Mary law students received public service fellowships totaling $288,345. Students will assist 100 organizations (see list below) in 18 states, the District of Columbia, Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Jamaica, Jordan, Kosovo, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherlands, Rwanda, South Africa, and Switzerland.

Generous donations from alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the Law School made these results possible. So did a significant work-study allocation from the university, the extremely hard work of the Public Service Fund, and contributions from employers interviewing on campus. Grants from the Virginia Law Foundation and the Virginia State Bar’s Criminal Law Section also provided meaningful support.
