Caitlin Vasko Brown ’26 Receives George Wythe Award at Law School Commencement

Caitlin Vasko Brown ’26 received the George Wythe Award during William & Mary Law School’s commencement ceremony at Kaplan Arena on Saturday, May 16.Vasko Brown received the George Wythe Award from Vice Dean Kami Chavis during Commencement.

The honor is given each year by the Law School in to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated character, leadership and a spirit of selfless service to the law school community..

Vasko Brown graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in public relations, advertising and applied communication and a B.S. in political science and government.

Since then she has served as executive editor and executive articles editor for the Bill of Rights Journal. She has also served as, among other things, a student fellow for Student Affairs & Academic Support, a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure, and cochair of the 3L Class Gift.

Vasko Brown has also been a legal extern for the Office of University Council, a summer associate at Flora Pettit PC in Charlottesville, and a judicial intern at the Virginia Court of Appeals. In 2025, she took home the Golden Gavel Award issued by the Honor Council.
