Celebrating the Class of 2026
Commencement exercises for the J.D., LL.M. and M.L.S. Class of 2026 began bright and early on the morning of Saturday, May 16 at Willliam & Mary’s Kaplan Arena. Sarah A. Cox, one of our talented graduating students gave a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, outgoing Student Bar Association President Emma Davis Herber served as Grand Marshal, and the Joint Base Langley-Eustis Honor Guard presented the colors. Graduates heard from commencement speaker Gurbir S. Grewal ’99, an American attorney and prosecutor who was formerly the Director of the Division of Enforcement for the Securities and Exchange Commission, and student commencement speakers Ruthie Savile LL.M., Grace Walker Smith and Emma Davis Herber. Then it was back to the Law School where graduates and their families gathered for refreshments, photos and celebration. Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Here are scenes from that special time.
