Dean Deutsch joined William & Mary Law School in April 2026. She provides support in the areas of academic advising, academic support, bar exam preparation, classroom & exam accommodations, flourishing & belonging, student organizational support, and wellness & counseling. She also teaches Advanced Legal Analysis & Doctrine.

Dean Deutsch joined William & Mary Law School after nearly six years at Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, where she first served as the Assistant Director of Academic Support, and then as the Associate Director of Academic Support. She co-taught the Preparing for the Bar course and managed the 1L Academic Support Program, as well as the Enhanced Academic Support program.
