Intern for the Center for Human Rights and the Environment (CEDHA), Argentina

Background
CEDHA is a non-profit organization based in Córdoba, Argentina. Founded in 1999, CEDHA's work focuses on how instances of environmental degradation are affecting the human rights of people in Argentina and around the globe. Two of CEDHA's main priorities are: 1) Working to change how countries throughout the world understand the interplay between environmental issues and human rights violations; and 2) Empowering victims of human rights violations by increasing their access to legal information and giving them a legal voice. CEDHA employees have prepared reports on various environmental/human rights issues for such international bodies as the UN and the OAS, and recently opened its Human Rights and Environment Legal Clinic to serve the Cordoban population.
