Adriana Roach
About
Adriana Roach was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois. She graduated summa cum laude from Missouri State University with a B.S. in Political Science. At her undergraduate university, she focused much of her studies on comparative politics and international relations. In particular, she conducted research on Nigeria’s electoral reforms which she presented at a conference in Chicago, Illinois. Her senior research project focused on the correlation between ethnic conflicts and economic instability in African nations. At William & Mary, Adriana is a staff editor for the Comparative Jurist blog. She hopes to practice law in the field of international law.
This summer, Adriana will be working on rule of law projects at the National Center for State Courts, International Programs Division (NCSC). This organization works to offer research, technical assistance, and training to strengthen the rule of law around the world. NCSC’s goal is to support judicial independence and provide access to justice to improve the quality of justice systems across the world.
