Layla Abi-Falah
About
Layla is from Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.A. in International Relations with a concentration in human rights in the Middle East and Africa. She is committed to a future in human rights and even as a student tries to bring about some sort of change through work in the field or even behind her desk in Williamsburg, Virginia.
As an intern for the Office of the Prosecutor Appeals Division at the International Residual Mechanism for International Tribunals (IRMCT), Layla will be conducting legal research and drafting legal documents as they relate to ongoing appeals stemming from the continuing work of the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda (ICTY/ICTR).
