About

Lea Mano is originally from Paris, France. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University. After graduating, she worked as an M&A paralegal for a year in New York before moving back to Paris to get involved in the French presidential elections of 2017. Last summer, she worked for International IDEA, an intergovernmental organization located in The Hague focused on constitution-building.

Lea will spend this summer working for the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), and with the Justice and Security Dialogues team more precisely. USIP is a federal institution focused on promoting conflict prevention and resolution. The Institute works with the State Department to foster global stability, develop sustainable peace, and promote the rule of law by taking actions in local communities.
