Paul Johnson
About
Paul Johnson was born in Chicago, but spent most of his life living in Troy, Michigan. He studied Finance and Accounting at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Following graduation, he worked for a small law firm in Troy that specialized in asbestos litigation defense. While he was not at work, he spent his free time tutoring a young man with special needs and traveling as often as possible.
Paul will spend this summer in Yangon, Myanmar doing legal research for a nonprofit called Open Development Mekong. Open Development provides an open source and open knowledge platform, seeking to change public perception about information and build demand for transparency throughout the Mekong Region.
