About
I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. I then attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where I double majored in Philosophy and Classics. While in undergrad, I took two separate study abroad trips - one in Rome, the other touring around Greece. Throught these trips, I developed a passion and fascination for the international community and the way cultures interact and influence each other. After finishing my undergrad degree, I was accepted into William & Mary where I am interested in studying Comparative and International Law. When I am not in school, I enjoy hiking, cycling, reading, and cooking.
This summer, I will be working at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Development (IDEA). Specifically, my internship is with IDEA's Constitution Building Processes Programme at the Hague. There, I will be working on a comparative analysis of different constitutional systems in order to aid post-conflict countries develop democratic systems tailored to their unique culture and needs.
