Tyler Braun
About
Tyler Braun grew up in Hale, a small town in northern Michigan. He attended Alma College, a liberal arts college in Alma, MI, and obtained a degree in Music with a minor in Educational Studies. After graduating from Alma College, Tyler spent two years working as a Realtor in his home town while preparing for law school. While attending William & Mary, Tyler worked with the PELE Special Education Advocacy Clinic to ensure that students with disabilities in local schools were receiving the education they deserve.
Tyler will be spending his summer in Kingston, Jamaica, working with Winrock International to implement the Child Protection Compact (CPC), a partnership with the State Department to identify and tackle trafficking and illegal labor practices. A newly operational project in Jamaica, Winrock's CPC program seeks to address child labor issues in the region by providing tools and trainings to police and governments agencies.
