Toby Prince Brigham Property Rights Fellow

Cody Taylor, a second-year law student at William & Mary Law School, serves as the Toby Prince Brigham Property Rights Fellow.  In that capacity, he supports the various initiatives of the Property Rights Project, including the Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference and the Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Journal.

Mr. Taylor received his undergraduate degree in economics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from William & Mary.  He also holds a Master’s degree in economics from George Mason University.   Prior to law school, he worked as an economist and research assistant at the Mercatus Center, at the Law & Economics Center at Antonin Scalia Law School, and at the American Economic Liberties Project. He has also interned with the Virginia Court of Appeals and was most recently a summer associate in the antitrust group at Baker Botts.  He has authored and coauthored multiple publications on antitrust and competition policy.

The Property Rights Fellowship is named for Toby Prince Brigham, a leader and mentor among American property rights attorneys, who devoted fifty-four years to representing property owners in eminent domain cases.
