Programs of Study
The School of Law is a part of the state-supported William & Mary. The Law School awards credit hours in accordance with the William & Mary Academic Credit Hour Policy. The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development are responsible for monitoring compliance with this policy.
The Law School offers the below programs:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) - full-time study with combination degrees in Law & Master of Business Administration and Law & Master of Arts in American Studies.
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) - a graduate degree in American Legal Studies for international students.
- Master of Legal Studies in Law (MLS) – A graduate degree for non-attorney professionals.
