Professor of the Practice
Professor Hill comes to William & Mary Law School from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where she taught practical skills in ethical lawyering and legal writing courses. A graduate of UVA and Howard University School of Law, magna cum laude, she clerked for the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in the Norfolk Division and has represented global corporate clients in civil litigation and white collar matters at Covington & Burling. Her pro bono work at the firm included Special Immigrant Juvenile Status matters, volunteering at walk-in community immigration clinics at churches and schools, and a secondment at the largest legal services non-profit in D.C., where she worked on child custody cases. Professor Hill was honored with the ACLU SoCal Humanitarian Pro Bono Award for her pro bono work.
Professor Hill serves as VP Legal Counsel to the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association and previously served in leadership roles for the State Bar of California, Virginia State Bar, Hispanic Bar Association of D.C., and several other professional organizations.
