Malcolm “Mick” Taylor spent 42 years in the United States Navy with 28 years on active duty as a Naval Aviator with 5,000 hours flying jets off aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships with the Marine Corps and testing aircraft and systems at Patuxent River, MD and China Lake, CA.

He continued to serve the Navy with a 14 year career as a senior warfare analyst and program manager in the senior civil service at the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD and later reporting as the Naval Air Systems Command advisor to the Pentagon for aviation related matters. He worked in leadership positions on Chief of Naval Operations N00 Staff that included four Quadrennial Defense Reviews, Principle Deputy for Air Warfare Plans, Analysis and Assessments, OPNAV N78 / N88 and N9/N9I Deputy Chief of Naval Warfare Operations Staff.

In retirement as a consultant to Systems Integration Test & Evaluation ( SITE LLC ) Mick has supported the Naval Air Systems Command and Naval Air Warfare in the Pentagon. As an alum of William & Mary he has supported the Puller Clinic at the W&M Law School.

Mick is married to the former Rita McEvoy and they have three children Jacquie, Tom and Kristen and thirteen grandchildren. Mick and Rita currently reside in Williamsburg, VA
