Jeff Bozman

Senior Director, Anduril

Jeff is a senior director in the Washington office of Anduril Industries, a leading defense technology company. Before joining Anduril, Jeff served as Counsel to Chairman Adam Smith on the U.S. House Armed Services Committee. His legislative and oversight portfolio encompassed Department of Defense acquisitions, supply chain resiliency, industrial base policy, domestic preference laws, and foreign investment reviews.

From 2013 to 2020, Jeff practiced law with Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, DC, where his practice focused on government contracts and public policy, with an emphasis on national security issues. Jeff successfully represented clients in bid protests at both the GAO and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He helped several companies and investors secure approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”) and craft strategies to mitigate issues of foreign ownership, control or influence. He also advised government contractors on federal labor and employment law, particularly the Service Contract Act and the Davis-Bacon Act. Jeff served as a vice-chair of Covington’s summer associate program, coordinated recruiting for William & Mary Law School students, and maintained an active pro bono practice focused on veterans law and civil rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals.

Outside of legal practice, Jeff is a member of St. John’s Church Lafayette Square, where he is a vocalist. He was a board member of the Armed Services Arts Partnership, founded and currently led by fellow W&M alumni.

Jeff is a “plankowner” of the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic, beginning his work with its clients in the summer preceding his first year at W&M Law School, and continuing that work in the summer after 1L. During law school, Jeff served as Editor-in-Chief of Volume 53 of the Law Review. At graduation, Jeff was honored with the Thatcher Prize for Excellence in Graduate and Professional Study, the Lawrence W. I’Anson Prize, and the Order of the Coif. He spent one year after graduation as a law clerk to the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith, then the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Jeff served as a U.S. Marine Corps officer from 2005-2009, including deployments to Ramadi and on board the USS Kearsarge with the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit.
