Ke Lin

Country: China: Class of 2019

Mr. Lin received his Bachelor of law degree from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics in Hongzhou, China. After passing the bar examination in his home country, he obtained several summer internships at a law firm. He now plans to pursue family trust law, a “very nascent field in China,” which he hopes to develop so that in the future, money and wills no longer have to be arranged under Hong Kong, U.S., or BVI law. Upon completion of the LL.M. degree, he seeks to apply his newly gained knowledge of U.S. family trust practices to his everyday work in China.  Mr. Lin chose William and Mary Law School for the chance to exchange bustling city life for a “calmer environment to study…with an old history.”
