Charter Day Weekend 2012

On February 3, College alumnus Robert Gates was invested as William & Mary's new chancellor. At the ceremony, W&M honored Class of 2014 Professor Laura Heymann with the Thomas Jefferson Teaching Award. Click here for story or watch the video. Later that weekend, Henry C. Wolf  '64, J.D. Professor Charles H. Koch, Jr. (1944-2012)

Professor Koch, the Dudley Warner Woodbridge Professor of Law and an esteemed member of the Law School community for more than 30 years, died February 18. Click here for story.

Professor Zick

Professor Tim Zick on the Occupy Wall Street Protests

Professor Zick testified at a recent Congressional hearing on the Occupy D.C. protest in McPherson Square. Click here for story and to watch the C-SPAN video.  He is the author of Speech Out of Doors (Cambridge University Press), which examines the right of free speech in public places. Former Va. Justice to Speak at Graduation

John Charles Thomas, who served on the Commonwealth's highest court from 1983 to 1989, will deliver the commencement address at the Law School ceremony on May 13 at the Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre. Click here for story.
