Preparing Practice-Ready Graduates Clinics: Up to 150 students a year can participate in any of our 9 clinics, including three that debuted this year: the Elder Law Clinic, the Appellate and Supreme Court Clinic, and the Virginia Coastal Policy Clinic. Click here for story. Externships: Ninety-four 2Ls and 3Ls currently are gaining valuable experience and practical knowledge by working alongside lawyers and judges. Click here for story. Legal Practice Program: Legal writing is at the heart of the new program. The new curriculum preserves the best aspects of our traditional skills program and introduces some innovations, such as the Legal Practice class for 2Ls. |

Students Collect 4,201 Food Items During Annual BLSA Food Drive The annual Thanksgiving food drive sponsored by the Black Law Students Association sparked friendly and creative competition among groups of 1Ls that vied against each other for top honors in quantity of food collected and creative presentation.
