Experts converge at W&M for forum on preparing for a climate-changed future
On Monday, July 9, William & Mary hosted a forum on “Preparing for a Climate Changed Future: Navigating the Impacts on our Military and Coastal Communities.”
Panelists, including Elizabeth Andrews, Director of the Virginia Coastal Policy Center at W&M Law School, offered ways that Hampton Roads communities and military bases can address the impacts of a rising sea, based on the approaches of other regions and installations facing the same threats.
The event was sponsored by The Center for Climate and Security, the Virginia Coastal Policy Center, and the Whole of Government Center of Excellence.
