2L Paul Rowley Receives the CAA's 2019 Dean Ehlers Leadership Award
A two-year captain on the Tribe men's basketball team, 2L Paul Rowley has been described by his coaches and teammates as the 'heart and soul' of the Tribe. On March 8, he received the Colonial Athletic Association's most prestigious honor, the Dean Ehlers Leadership Award.
Rowley is believed to be the first Division 1 men's basketball player to compete on the court as second-year law student. In 2017, he earned his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from William & Mary in just three years with a double major in finance and computer science. He continued on to law school at William & Mary, where he ranks 11th in his class of 180 and is a member of the Law Review.
