Two W&M Faculty Present Papers at the Yale, Stanford, Harvard Junior Faculty Forum

Professor Jay Butler and Professor Kevin Haeberle presented papers at the 20th session of the Yale/Stanford/Harvard Junior Faculty Forum held at Yale Law School on June 5-6, 2019.
Professor Butler presented his paper titled "The Corporate Keepers of International Law." Professor Haeberle's paper for the Forum was titled "Information Asymmetry and the Protection of Ordinary Investors" (SSRN).
A jury of accomplished scholars selected on a blind basis 12 papers by junior faculty for presentation at the Forum this year. William & Mary was the only school to have works by two of its faculty chosen. Competition is keen each year and authors whose works are selected present their scholarship to an audience of participating junior scholars, faculty from the host law schools, and invited guests. The annual event's objective "is to encourage the work of scholars recently appointed to a tenure-track position by providing experience in the pursuit of scholarship and the nature of the scholarly exchange."
