William & Mary Law School boasts a remarkable history - Thomas Jefferson helped found it nearly 230 years ago - and a reputation for producing lawyers who are not only highly skilled and successful attorneys, but dedicated public servants.
At William & Mary, we're looking for diverse, talented applicants who have what it takes to become citizen lawyers - models of professionalism and service that began with Jefferson and are personified today by our amazing faculty.
Why apply to W&M? Because our academic programs offer a unique, hands-on legal education and full access to the Law School's rich intellectual life. And don't forget our vibrant student life - clubs, journals, moot court - and our beautiful home town of Williamsburg.
We offer three full-time degree programs. Learn how to apply:
* Joint Degree Program - Students accepted to the J.D. program may also apply for joint degrees from the School of Business, the Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy and the American Studies Program. A separate application must be made to each program.
* LL.M. in the American Legal System - This one-year program is designed for students who have received law degrees outside of the United States and seek advanced training in American law.
Please keep in mind important dates and deadlines. And don't forget to apply for financial aid. For 2015-16, the Law School awarded $10.7 million in fellowships and merit- and need-based scholarships.
