About Jacob

Jacob graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.J. in broadcast journalism and a B.A. in political science from Ohio University, where he was a student advocate and a news producer and segment editor for a local television station. At William & Mary he is a member of the Moot Court Team, chief editor of the State of Elections blog, and publicity chair for the George Wythe Society. In the summer of 2013 he worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia and as a research assistant to Professor Adam Gershowitz.

His Own Words

"I attended William & Mary because I was fascinated by the dynamic of the citizen lawyer. I have not been disappointed. We are not only learning to be top-quality advocates and servants of the law but also engaged members of our civic community. This attitude informs much of what we do, and I have been supremely impressed by the caliber of my peers, the faculty, and staff."
