About W&M Law Alumnae of Note

As part of the 2018 celebration of the 100th anniversary of the admission of women to William & Mary, we would like to highlight our law alumnae who have had an important impact on the university, Law School, or profession, or in their communities or larger world. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the first woman to graduate from our law school: Virginia Mister in the Class of 1937. Among her accomplishments, she led a broad array of civic efforts in Norfolk during World War II and worked for more than 25 years for the United Nations, serving as head of the U.N.'s  Legal, Political, and Security Council Affairs Library. Read more about Virginia Mister.

If you know of an alumna who has made or is making a difference for the better, please send her name and brief description of her accomplishments to Laura Beach at [[w|lwbeac]].
