Professor Street joined the faculty of William & Mary Law School as Clinical Professor of Legal Research and Director of the Wolf Law Library on July 10, 2019. Her portfolio of responsibilities includes: management of the Wolf Law Library, oversight of legal research education programs.
Representative Professional Activities and Achievements
Professor Street served as an assistant corporation counsel for the New York City Law Department and as an associate at a law firm in Tacoma, Wash. She then earned a Masters of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Washington, after which she served in various law librarian leadership roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Georgetown University. Most recently, Professor Street was Director of the Law Library and an Associate Professor of Law at the Mercer University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in New York and Washington. Professor Street is active in various library and law professional organizations including the American Association of Law Libraries where she is past chair of the Government Relations Committee and currently serves on the Copyright Committee. She is also a standing committee member for the Law Libraries Section of the International Federation of Library Associations. Professor Street actively researches and publishes on subjects including legal information policy, libraries and copyright, and change and management of law libraries.
