Coverage of some federal statutory and regulatory laws affecting
consumer financing transactions. Included are the Truth in Lending Act,
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and Federal Trade Commission
regulations on [1] elimination of the HDC doctrine on financing of
sales of personal property, and [2] certain credit practices in
consumer loans. This course satisfies the Writing Requirement. |
