Friday, April 14th

9:00 AM - 6:30 PM:  Check-In and Registration - Law School Lobby. 

Noon - 1:30 PM:  50th Reunion Celebration Lunch: By invitation only

Alumni celebrating their 50th reunion will be recognized during a lunch with both the Law School Alumni Association Board and the Marshall-Wythe School of Law Foundation Board.

3:00 - 3:45 PM: Classroom Experience, Room 127

Alumni are invited to attend a classroom experience sessions to hear from one of our distinguished faculty.

"Mass Incarceration Nation", with Jeffrey Bellin, Cabell Research Professor & Mills E. Godwin, Jr., Professor of Law

4:00 - 4:45 PM:  Explore Williamsburg

Gather with your fellow classmates and their families to explore Colonial Williamsburg. Take a historic tour of the Wren, sign up for a W&M Law Admissions tour, and more.

Alumni are invited to explore the new George Wythe Room and the curated exhibit in the Special Collections Room.

6:00 - 8:00 PM: Alumni Welcome Reception, Law School Lobby

Alumni and guests are invited to gather together to reminisce and meet with current and emeritus faculty.

7:00 - 9:00 PM:  Class Private Receptions

Classmates from the Classes of 1973, 1978, and 1983 are invited to enjoy dinner together at the home of classmates.

Dean's Council members are invited to attend a breakfast at the Great Lawn in their honor with Dean Spencer. 

9:00 - 10: 45 AM:  Explore Williamsburg

11:00 - 11:45 AM: Panel Discussions

Alumni can choose to attend one of two panel sessions to hear from our distinguished faculty and alumni.

The Immigration Clinic, Room 119: Join a panel featuring the Immigration Clinic Director Stacy Kern-Scheerer, Postgraduate Fellow Nicole Alanko, and students, as they discuss their vital work helping vulnerable populations from around the world, find new homes in Hampton Roads.

Moot Court Demonstration, McGlothlin Courtroom: Come watch the Law School's #2 nationally ranked Moot Court team in a live demonstration. You also will have the opportunity to interact with the students and faculty supervisor, Jennifer Franklin. 

Noon - 1:45 PM: Alumni Picnic Lunch, Law School Tent

Alumni and their families are invited to enjoy good food, music, and lawn games in front of the Law School

2:00 PM - 2:45 PM: State of the Law School, Law School Tent

Alumni are invited to hear Dean Spencer talk about the challenges the Law School faces, the successes of our students, faculty, and programs, and his vision for the future of legal education at W&M. Q&A will be available at the end.

3:00 PM - 4:45 PM: Alumni Reunion Social, Law School Tent

Alumni and their families are invited to enjoy a sweet snack, music, lawn games, and trivia.

3:00 PM - 5:45 PM: Explore Williamsburg

6:00 PM - 6:45 PM: Dean's Council and Reunion Committee Reception, Alumni House: By invitation only

Dean's Council and Reunion Committee members, along with special guests, are invited to a cocktail reception in recognition of their efforts for the W&M Law School Alumni Weekend 2023. 

7:00 PM - 8:15 PM: Reunion Dinner Party, Alumni House

Join your classmates in reminiscing about your time at W&M Law and share updates about where life has taken you personally and professionally.

8:30 PM - 10:00 PM:  Class Bash, Alumni House

Celebrate the end of Alumni Weekend under the stars with music and dancing. 

Sunday, April 16th

Complete your weekend with your classmates and family by exploring some of the great entertainment and eateries Williamsburg has to offer. Suggested activities include:
