We can't wait to welcome you back to the Law School for Alumni Weekend, October 17-18, 2025! There are a number of opportunities for you to explore our ever-evolving alma mater, reconnect with the W&M Law School community, and create new memories throughout the weekend.

Online registration is now closed.
Onsite registration will begin 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17 at William & Mary Law School. Note: The Reunion Class Dinner is now full and onsite registration will not be available.
Cancellations may be made prior to Sept. 30, after which no refunds will be made.

William & Mary Homecoming: Law School Alumni Weekend and William & Mary Homecoming are coinciding on the same weekend, providing even more events and activities to explore during your time in Williamsburg. If you are interested in attending William & Mary Homecoming events, please visit homecoming.wm.edu.

William & Mary Homecoming Football Game: W&M will be playing Elon at this year's Homecoming Game--go Tribe! The game will start at 3:30 p.m. To purchase tickets and find information on parking closer to Zable Stadium, visit William & Mary Tribe Athletics website. William & Mary Law alumni are also welcome to park at the Law School to walk to and from the stadium.

Friday, October 17, 2025

  • 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Law School Alumni Weekend Registration  |  W&M Law School - Lobby  |  Cost: Free
    • Alumni Weekend check-in and registration is open for William & Mary Law School alumni and guests.

  • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Wolf Law Library Open House  |  W&M Law School - Wolf Law Library |  Cost: Free
    • Alumni and guests are invited to explore the library, as well as exhibitions in the lobby and Nicholas J. St. George Rare Book Room, and the George Wythe Boswell-Caracci Room featuring a recreation of Wythe’s library. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Oral Histories Project Exhibit  |  W&M Law School - Wolf Law Library  |  Cost: Free
    • Visit the Wolf Law Library’s lobby to see a pop-up exhibit about the Oral Histories Project and learn more about some of our alumni and how their experience at the Law School created a lasting impact. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 2:30 - 4:00 p.m.: 50th Reunion Celebration Toast: Invitation only  |  W&M Law School – Penny Commons, The Hixon Center  |  Cost: Free with Invitation
    • Members of William & Mary Law School’s Class of 1975 are invited to celebrate their 50th reunion with Dean A. Benjamin Spencer, as the Law School toasts your reunion milestone and awards your legacy medallions.

  • 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.: Ethics CLE Class  |  W&M Law School  |  Cost: Free 
    • Receive two hours of ethics credit in this CLE class, taught by fellow William & Mary alumni. Stay tuned for further information and details.

  • 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.: Mary Siegrist Hinz Leadership Fellows Reception: Invitation only  |  W&M Law School - In Front of Penney-Young Courtroom, The Hixon Center (second floor)  |  Cost: Free with Invitation
    • Current and former Mary Siegrist Hinz Leadership Fellows are invited to join Dean Spencer, special guests, and members of the selection committee in celebrating the 40th anniversary of the program, as well as honoring the memory and legacy of Mary Siegrist Hinz ’85. Remarks will begin at 4:15 p.m.

  • 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.: Law School Alumni Welcome Reception  |  W&M Law School - Lobby & Penny Commons, The Hixon Center |  Cost: $40 adults, $20 children
    • Come back to where it all started and reconnect with your classmates as we kick off Alumni Weekend with a reception at the Law School. Dean Spencer will share a welcoming message at 6 p.m., and heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. This is a family-friendly event.

      Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children.

    • Alumni Weekend check-in and registration is open for William & Mary Law School alumni and guests. Complimentary coffee and tea will be available.

  • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Wolf Law Library Open House  |  W&M Law School - Wolf Law Library |  Cost: Free
    • Alumni and guests are invited to explore the library, as well as exhibitions in the lobby and Nicholas J. St. George Rare Book Room, and the George Wythe Boswell-Caracci Room featuring a recreation of Wythe’s library. This is a family-friendly event.

    Colonial Williamsburg, and W&M Historic Campus  |  Cost: Free

    • Join William & Mary Law Professor and legal historian Tom McSweeney ’02 as he takes you on a popular walking tour about Law School history from the 18th century to today. The tour will begin and end at William & Mary Law School and take you into parts of Colonial Williamsburg and the Historic Campus at William & Mary. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 10:30 - 11:00 a.m.: Gentle Movement Chair Yoga  |  W&M Law School – Patten Family Courtyard  |  Cost: Free 
    • Join William & Mary Law School alum and 40th Reunion Committee Member, Beth Ebner, J.D. ’85 and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), for some gentle stretching and movement as you start your Alumni Weekend Saturday. This chair yoga is accessible for all ages and levels. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Law School Reunion Committee & Dean’s Council Appreciation Brunch: Invitation only  |  W&M Law School –Penny Commons, The Hixon Center  | Cost: Free with Invitation 
    • In appreciation for their support and dedication, William & Mary Law School Reunion Committee and Dean’s Council members are invited to a toast in their honor with Dean A. Benjamin Spencer. In addition, from 11:45-12:15, guests will receive an exclusive State of the Law School address and Q&A with Dean Spencer. Brunch cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

  • 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.: Reconnect, Reminisce, & Explore: Alumni Weekend Open House  |  W&M Law School – Lobby, Wolf Law Library, & Penny Commons, The Hixon Center  |  Cost: Free 
    • Join your classmates in gathering back at the Law School to reconnect, reminisce, and explore!

      Meet with current students at the Student Organization Fair, participate in classroom sessions with students and faculty, take photos at our photobooth, play yard games in the front lawn, and enjoy catching up with classmates while roaming the halls.

      Law School favorite food truck, Don Chido, will be onsite, and complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea will be available in the Lobby.

  • 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.: Law School Student Organization Fair  |  W&M Law School – Wolf Law Library, First Floor Reading Room  |  Cost: Free 
    • Reconnect with our vibrant student community at the Student Organization Fair during the Law School Alumni Weekend Open House. Current student organizations will be set up in the library to share updates on their work, highlight recent initiatives and the evolving impact of these organizations, and engage with our returning alumni. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.: The Future is Now! McGlothlin Courtroom Tour with Fred Lederer | W&M Law School - McGlothlin Courtroom  |  Cost: Free 
    • Experience the future of justice at the McGlothlin Courtroom, hosted by the Center for Legal & Court Technology. Step inside the world’s most technologically advanced courtroom to see a live demonstration of cutting-edge courtroom technology in action, ask questions, and explore how innovation is transforming the legal process. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.: Puller Veterans Clinic Information Session with Mike Dick | W&M Law School - Penny Commons. The Hixon Center  |  Cost: Free

    • Learn more about how William & Mary Law School faculty and students embody the citizen lawyer ethos through their work in the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic. Professor Mike Dick and clinic students will be available to share more about how they engage directly with our community and ensure former military service members have access to their disability benefits. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 1:15 - 2:00 p.m.: Classroom Sessions: Student Panel, hosted by Dean Brian Wall  W&M Law School – Classroom 119  |  Cost: Free 
    • Join us for a dynamic panel discussion featuring current law students, hosted by Brian Wall, J.D. ’11, associate dean for student affairs & academic support. Hear firsthand insights about student life, academic experiences, and the future of the legal profession. Alumni will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the next generation of legal talent at William & Mary Law School. This is a family-friendly event.

  • 2:15 - 3:00 p.m.: Classroom Sessions: AI & The Law with Professor Laura Killinger  W&M Law School – Classroom 124  |  Cost: Free 
    • Explore the future of legal research in this interactive AI & the Law demo session, hosted by Laura Killinger, director of the Legal Practice Program and clinical professor of legal writing. Discover how tools like ChatGPT and other AI technologies can enhance your legal analysis, streamline research, and support deeper scholarly work, plus William & Mary Law School is preparing students to enter the workforce with knowledge on ethically utilizing these platforms.

  • 3:00 - 3:45 p.m.: “Leave Your Legacy” with Rachel Drazdowski, J.D  W&M Law School – Classroom 279  |  Cost: Free 
    • Join Rachel Drazdowski, J.D., executive director of gift planning, as she shares about the various options for making a planned gift, ranging from the more straightforward bequest through a will or trust to more complex arrangements like charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. Bring your questions and learn how you can leave a lasting legacy at William & Mary Law School.

  • 3:00 - 3:30 p.m.: Class of 2020 “Graduation” Pictures  |  W&M Law School - Lobby  |  Cost: Free 
    • Members of the Class of 2020 are invited to join us for a special photobooth session where you and your classmates can don Law School regalia to take some belated “graduation” pictures. Special Class of 2020 swag will also be available for those who attend.

  • 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.: Law School Reunion Class Dinner  |  Williamsburg Lodge - Virginia Ballroom |  Cost: $85  -- SOLD OUT
    • Members of the Law School classes of 0s and 5s, join your classmates, W&M Law School faculty and staff, as we celebrate your reunion milestones together. 

      The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Come dressed in your green and gold or business casual attire.

      The Reunion Class Dinner will be held at the Williamsburg Lodge (310 S England Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185).

      Parking: Limited parking is available for dinner guests at the Williamsburg Lodge parking lot. Guests are invited to park at the Law School and enjoy a free shuttle to and from the dinner, starting at 6:15 p.m., with the last shuttle returning by 10 p.m.

      Tickets are $85.
