Noise Policy
All library users should respect the rights of others in the Law Library, which has areas for both quiet study and collaboration.
The Ground Floor and Second Floor of the Library are quiet study areas. In particular, the Reporters and Journals area of the Ground Floor, located to the right at the base of the stairs, should be kept completely quiet. Most of the library's 12 dedicated, reservable Study Rooms are located on the Ground Floor, though there is also one large study room on the First Floor and two additional rooms on the Second Floor.
The First Floor of the Library is for conversation and group study. The recently renovated First Floor Reading Room, with a variety of seating options, is a space intended for collaborative group study, but conversation is also permitted throughout the First Floor of the Library.
