Visitor Use of the Law Library

The Law Library is primarily for the use of William & Mary Law School students, faculty, and staff and provides an environment conducive to research, collaboration, and study. Visitors are welcome to use the library, too, but must:

  • respect the rights and ensure the safety of library users and staff,
  • maintain a quiet, distraction-free environment and a clean physical space,
  • use only one workspace at a time, keeping it neat and tidy,
  • use the library only during authorized access hours.

All visitors must abide by all other Law Library, Law School, and University policies, including William & Mary's Use of Campus Facilities policy, which prohibits soliciation on university property or in university facilities.
