Safety and Security
Doors to the law school and law library are locked after regular business hours (please see the Law Library Hours page for more information.) For the safety, security, and comfort of the law school community, it is imperative that only those entitled to enter the facility do so.
Do not prop doors open.
The William & Mary Police Department, located at 201 Ukrop Dr. (near Jamestown Rd.), is open 24 hours a day, year-round. The Police Department can be contacted by dialing (757) 221-4596 for non-emergencies, and 911 (on campus) for emergencies. In any emergency, regardless of your location, dial 911.
