Professor Kami Chavis will join the William & Mary Law School faculty as the R. Hugh and Nolie Haynes Professor of Law beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year (pending final approval by the Board of Visitors). Chavis comes to William & Mary from Wake Forest University, where she is Vice Provost, Professor of Law, and Director of the Criminal Justice Program.

The American Law Institute Elects Professor Jeffrey Bellin as New Member

The American Law Institute (ALI) announced Monday that Professor Jeffrey Bellin is among the newest members elected to ALI membership. Bellin is the Mills E. Godwin, Jr., Professor of Law and Robert E. and Elizabeth S. Scott Research Professor at William & Mary Law School.
