2024 Tournament
The 53rd Annual William B. Spong, Jr. Invitational Tournament was held February 23-24, 2024 in-person at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia.
The winners of the 2024 Spong Tournament were as follows:
Best Petitioner’s Brief: Team 21, New York University School of Law
Best Respondent’s Brief: Team 20, New York University School of Law
Best Oralist: Austin Updike, Team 20 New York University
Champion: Team 20, New York University School of Law
Runner-up: Team 21, New York University School of Law
Semifinalists: Team 35, St. Mary’s University School of Law and Team 12, University of Georgia School of Law.
Quarterfinalists: Team 8, Liberty University School of Law, Team 13, Regent University School of Law, Team 18, Florida State University College of Law, Team 24, University of Virginia School of Law.
Registration for the 2024 Spong Tournament is now closed. If you did not register for the 2024 Tournament, please consider registering for the 2025 Tournament in late September or early October.
Scores: Score reports will be released individually to teams who competed in the 2024 Spong Tournament in the coming weeks. When score reports are available, you will be notified.
