Comparative Law

LAW 380-01 Comparative Law 3 credits
This course will introduce and compare the major legal traditions of the world, including civil law, common law, Islamic law, and customary law. Readings and discussions will focus on legal systems in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, India, and the Middle East.

Course will satisfy the Major Paper Requirement.

Satisfies the writing requirement.
