The West Bank: Conflict, Human Rights and the Rule of Law
On October 20, 2009 Hussein Abu El Hawa, Senior Legal Education Coordinator of the NETHAM Rule of Law Project, and Dr. Mohammad Shalaldeh, Dean of Al-Quds Law School in East Jerusalem, gave a presentation on the ongoing conflict in the West Bank and efforts to strengthen the justice sector and law school education in the face of ongoing challenges and human rights abuses.
