The Growth of Public Participation in Post-Conflict Constitution-Building: Cambodia through Kosovo
On November 17, 2009, the Program in Comparative Legal Studies and Post-Conflict Justice sponsored a presentation by Professor Louis M. Aucoin of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy on “The Growth of Public Participation in Post-Conflict Constitution-Building: Cambodia through Kosovo.” Professor Aucoin is Associate Research Professor at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and previously served as Program Officer at the United States Institute of Peace, where his work focused on the role of informal justice systems in fostering peace in post-conflict societies, and national reconciliation strategies during post-conflict peace-building efforts. He served as an advisor to the constitution drafting processes in Cambodia, Rwanda, East Timor and Kosovo.
