Professors Larry Palmer and Alemante Selassie Retire from Faculty
Professor
Palmer joined the faculty in 2008, following a three-decade career at
Cornell and the University of Louisville. A noted law and health policy
expert, he was the founding director of the VCU-W&M Health Policy

Susan
Grover is the first member of the law faculty to be honored by the
College as a University Professor for Teaching Excellence. This
three-year chair recognizes extraordinary commitment to students and to

Professor, a three-year chair awarded to a tenured W&M faculty

Constitutional Dilemmas: Professor Angela Banks on Arizona’s Immigration Legislation On
April 11, a federal appeals court let stand a lower court decision
blocking parts of Arizona’s controversial immigration law from going
into effect. Lawyers for the state of Arizona have vowed to appeal the
ruling. In this video, Professor Banks discusses the constitutional arguments at issue.
