W&M Law Hosts Its First International Conference in China Scholars, jurists, and practitioners from the U.S. and China gathered in Beijing for the 8th Annual Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference. W&M Lewis B. Puller, Jr., Veterans Benefits Clinic The clinic has enlisted colleges and universities in Virginia to join the Law School's new HMVHE consortium to serve the state's veterans. W&M Law Students Serve Local Community Our students contributed nearly 2,700 items of food during BLSA's 11th annual Thanksgiving Basket Competition. Click here for story. A mock libel trial of Cinderella staged by our students had a happy ending for the fairy tale princess, thanks to the verdict reached by local 5th graders. Click here for story. Loan Repayment Assistance Program Applications, Deadline - Jan. 12, 2012 The Law School's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) assists graduates, beginning with the Class of 2004, who work for government agencies or 501(c)(3) organizations. Instructions for accessing the LRAP application and information about loan repayment programs in addition to the Law School's are available by clicking here. Assistance is in the form of annual interest-bearing loans, which are forgiven if the recipient satisfies all program requirements and remains in qualifying employment. Funding is provided on a calendar-year basis, with disbursement in February. |
